Dive and Social Planning Night

Just over a week until Divetech’s first dive (and social) planning night of 2015.

Come along to Milnes Bar on Hanover Street for 7.30pm on Tuesday 10th February to have a say on the diving you want to do this year. Don’t worry if you haven’t planned a dive before, there will be experienced members who can help you plan your first diving trip, whether it is a shore dive in Eyemouth or a club RIB trip in Oban. There is so much exciting diving to be done so come along and make sure you are part of it.

Nibbles will provided to keep you going (as if you needed any more persuasion)!

Dive planning night

Hi! Please remember that on 10th February we have the Dive Planning Night at Milne’s, with kick-off at 7pm.  It is an opportunity to give ideas for the 2015 calendar of club dives.  All can also volunteer to organize a trip.  Committee members will be there to provide any advise required.

Try-dive vouchers for 2015

Struggling for ideas for a Christmas present?  Here is the solution…A voucher for a “try dive” with Divetech!

For just £10 you can give your friend an hour taster lesson in which one of our qualified BSAC instructors will go through the basics of scuba-diving with poolside tuition, before taking him or her in and under the water.  The try dive will take place at Leith Academy Swimming Pool, 20 Academy Park, Edinburgh, Midlothian EH6 8JQ.  We will provide all the equipment needed for the lesson.

Have you noticed it’s December already?!  It has been proposed instead of meeting at Milnes next Tuesday we have some fun at the Edinburgh Christmas Celebrations down town.

Divetech AGM 2014

Thank you to everyone who attended Divetech’s AGM at Milnes Bar on 14th October. It was great to see so many members there to celebrate the years successes including increased membership, more regular club diving and Ocean Diver training which will conclude this winter.

Building on the success of this years training programme it was agreed to run more try dives early next year followed by a training programme tailored to the needs or new and existing members.
